Questions for Ministers
Prime Minister: Will you ever honour the Labour Party's 1997 manifesto promise to hold a referendum on the way we elect MPs?
Secretary of State for Justice: Where's the justice in a Government elected by fewer than four out of ten voters?
Foreign Secretary: Why does the UK Government recommend democracy to the rest of the world even though it was elected by fewer than 4 out of 10 voters itself?
Chancellor of the Exchequer: How much tax would the Government collect if it practised "No tax without representation", bearing in mind that over 70% of votes (over 19m) were wasted as they were cast either for a losing candidate or were surplus to the winner's requirements?
Secretary of State for Health: How many hospitals are threatened with closure or downgrading in marginal constituencies and how many in safe ones?
